By definition, anything that gets Sean McVay to break his too-cool-for-school exterior and get heated is a good thing as far as the Seattle Seahwks are concerned. When the Rams swung and missed and trading up to get Byron Murphy and he went to Seattle, the look on McVay’s face alone spoke volumes about the impact Murphy is going to make in the NFC West.
McVay was also apparently really ticked off when the Rams originally traded the Seahawks’ newest linebacker Ernest Jones to the Tennessee Titans near the end of August. Here’s a clip making the rounds of McVay snapping at a reporter over a question about the trade after it was announced a few months ago.

The new-look Seahawks will get their first matchup with McVay’s Rams under Mike Macdonald next week after hosting the Buffalo Bills on Sunday. Jones is expected to be in the lineup after facing the Bills with the Titans last week.
