LA VERGNE, Tenn. (WSMV) – The roof and rear of a home in La Vergne were destroyed after a fire started there Monday morning.
La Vergne Fire Rescue reports that the blaze was first reported just before 7:30 a.m. Monday, along E Nir Shreibman, after a parent returned to the home, noticed the smoke and called 911.
“Upon arrival, firefighters found the roof already destroyed by fire, with flames extending from the attic,” a press release said.
Crews were able to quickly get the fire under control and stop it from further spreading. Everyone was able to safely evacuate the home…
