FRANKLIN, Tenn. (WSMV) – A semi-truck fire forced officials to close part of an interstate in Williamson County on Monday afternoon.
The Williamson County Sheriff’s Office reported the closure just before 2 p.m., saying that the eastbound lanes of Interstate 840 near the exit for Peytonsville Road have been temporarily shut down.
“Please avoid the area if possible and expect delays. Use alternate routes and allow extra travel time,” a post from WCSO said.
