MARSHAL COUNTY, Tenn. (WZTV) — A man wanted on 19 outstanding warrants was arrested after falling through an attic into a neighbor’s living room.
Darrius Cane, 36, racked up charges after fleeing from a traffic stop and striking a patrol officer on March 14, and in an attempt to escape Metropolitan Nashville Police Department officers though an attic before falling through the ceiling and landing in a neighbor’s living room.
At the traffic stop, Cane already had five felony warrants out of Marshall County, and was stopped by officers because his Dodge Charger had no tag lights or a temporary tag. He did not have a driver’s license or a vehicle registration. He then gave a false date of birth and social security number to the officers before correctly identifying him.
