NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WSMV) – The Tennessee Department of Transportation (TDOT) announced that it will be implementing a traffic shift as part of Phase 3 of the Interstate 65 Widening and Improvements Project in Davidson and Sumner counties.
Contractors will begin shifting traffic at 8 p.m. on Thursday, April 23, onto the newly constructed inside lanes of I-65 northbound from mile marker 96 to 99.
After the shift is implemented, TDOT said nightly lane closures will continue to adjust barrier rail for emergency pull-off locations, install additional signage and perform striping operations…
