South College Nashville Celebrates Grand Opening of Additional Campus Building and Expanded Dental Clinic

South College Nashville held a ribbon cutting ceremony on April 23 to celebrate the expansion of its Dental Clinic and increased campus footprint to accommodate demands across the healthcare spectrum, including nursing, imaging science and physical therapy.

“We have been and will continue to be very intentional about how we increase access to higher education,” South College Nashville President Nick South said. “The addition of a new building and expansion of our Dental Clinic enhance our delivery of the curricula and hands-on training we offer as part of that vision.”

The new building is across the street from the first campus building at 616 Marriott Drive and adds 37,500 square feet across two floors to provide more space for faculty, staff and students. The additions include three new classrooms, a student center, new labs for nursing and Doctor of Physical Therapy programs and simulation labs with high- and medium-fidelity manikins.
