NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) — The Nashville Fire Department responded to a house fire in South Nashville early Monday morning that affected at least ten people, officials said.
According to NFD, crews were called to Vicar Drive just after 3 a.m. Monday, where they arrived to find heavy flames at the back of the house.
Officials at the scene told News 2 it appears the fire started outside the house near a deck and spread into the attic. Crews quickly extinguished the flames, but the house was heavily damaged by fire, smoke and water.
Officials said at least six adults and four children were in the house at the time, but everyone escaped safely. The Red Cross has been called to assist them…
