The City of Dickson Police Department arrested Timothy Durand, 46, of Ashland City, was arrested on April 17 and charged with murder, tampering with evidence and false reports.
Durand was indicted by a grand jury on April 7. According to redacted presentments obtained from the Dickson County Circuit Court, Durand allegedly “engaged in criminally negligent conduct,” resulting in someone’s death, sometime between Thursday, May 2, 2024 and Friday, May 3, 2024; tampered with evidence sometime between May 7, 2024 and Wednesday, May 8, 2024 and gave false statements about the crime to investigators on Friday, May 3, 2024.
