NEW ORLEANS (WVUE) – It’s pretty typical summer heat for now but the hot and dry pattern likely flips back stormy next week.
🔥A HOT DAY – Today will be a dry and hot day. Highs will get into the lower 90s and heat indices are likely to top out in the low 100s. Rain chances remain at 20% or less.
Over the weekend there will be a few more storms showing up in the forecast. It’s still going to be hot with highs in the 90s but a 30% chance for spotty storms should help cool off a few spots. Watch radar each afternoon for any outdoor, weekend activities…
