Years after a dozen people were shot — one fatally — outside the Republic NOLA nightclub, New Orleans police have arrested five suspects and reconstructed events surrounding the mass shooting.
Investigators say the crime unfolded in three acts across New Orleans on the night of April 14, 2014: an organized meetup in Central City where a stolen car changed hands; a mass shooting at the French Quarter Fest after-party in the 800 block of South Peters Street; and the torching of the stolen vehicle at a Village de L’Est intersection.
Michael Anthony Clavo III, Dandrick Montero Green and Brian Rashad Webb were each booked on a count of second-degree murder and 11 counts of second-degree aggravated battery.
