The long-awaited redevelopment of the former Six Flags New Orleans property has encountered another major obstacle, as disagreements between the property owner and the development team threaten the future of the project.
The conflict involves the New Orleans Redevelopment Authority (NORA), which owns the property, and Bayou Phoenix, the development group selected to transform the abandoned site in New Orleans East.
