I found a perfect summer meal at this downtown bar with one of NOLA’s best wine lists

The tuna crudo at Pluck wine bar was dressed, very lightly, the way we all should be in the summer.

The rosé poured beside it was silky-smooth, crisp and just right next to the velvety tuna gleaming with an earthy and mellow salsa macha with fresh summer blackberries.

But we weren’t done with this pairing.

I’d asked Pluck proprietor Skye LaTorre to match a few dishes from her menu with the wines she was currently pouring by the glass. The rosé was a new-to-me niche player, from Red Tail Ridge in New York’s Finger Lakes, an underappreciated region…
