14 Parishes Shutters Oak Street Home, Food Truck Keeps Rolling

After five years on Uptown’s Oak Street, 14 Parishes has served its last plate from its brick-and-mortar restaurant, listing Sunday, June 21 as the final day of service. In a social announcement, the family-run Jamaican spot thanked customers, neighbors and staff and hinted that a new venture is on the horizon. While the dining room goes dark, the brand says it will keep serving New Orleans through its Likkle 14 food truck.
