NEW ORLEANS (WGNO) — The corner of Vespasion Street and Lauradale Drive in Algiers is near the home where Tollette George lived.
He was a star quarterback at Edna Karr and played in college for Alcorn State. But on June 24, 2016, George was gunned down near that same intersection.
