NEW ORLEANS — Thousands are expected to head to the Big Easy for ESSENCE Festival of Culture during Fourth of July weekend, starting Friday July 3 through Sunday, July 5. From Cardi B’s Superdome debut, Michelle Obama’s live podcast recording to free daytime experiences at the Ernest N. Morial Convention Center, it’s a weekend packed with fashion, flavor and Black culture.

When: 9 a.m. until 5 p.m. Friday through Sunday
Grab your girls, your family, and friends, and spend the day inside the Convention Center to experience the ESSENCE Stage watching free live performances, try beauty brands at BeautyCon, tasty bites at ESSENCE Food & Wine, shop Black-owned businesses and hear panel discussions at the Global Black Economic Forum.
Arriving early is recommended, as lines can get crowded throughout the weekend.
