This Wisconsin-based chain has one of the best cups of coffee money can buy when it comes to fast-food options. The signature Blue Spoon Blend is roasted in smaller batches than any other fast-food coffee. The flavor is smooth, satisfying and full-bodied. Plus, the employees welcome you with a friendly Midwestern smile. The commitment to smaller batch roasting sets Culver’s apart from the mass production approach of most fast-food chains.
What makes this revelation even more surprising is that Culver’s operates primarily in the upper Midwest, where coffee culture traditionally takes a backseat to cheese curds and frozen custard. Yet somehow, they’ve managed to craft a brew that rivals dedicated coffee shops. If you’re lucky enough to live near a Culver’s, definitely stop by in the morning for coffee. (And later in the day for a Butterburger, frozen custard and cheese curds!)
