The City of New Orleans Parks and Parkways has announced that it will temporarily close Brechtel Park to allow for critical safety surface improvements.
The closure will begin on Monday, June 29, and is anticipated to take approximately 90 days, with completion expected by Sept. 27, 2026, according to the city.
