Florida teen sentenced for making ‘swatting’ calls and bomb threats to Jefferson Parish schools

An 18-year-old from Florida was sentenced after he admitted to calling in false bomb threats to two Jefferson Parish schools and targeting a Metairie teen’s residence with multiple prank “swatting” calls, according to court records.

Jayden Bullard of Leesburg, Fla., pleaded guilty July 1 to one count of terrorizing, two counts of communicating bomb threats and four counts of falsely communicating threats to cause an emergency response, Jefferson Parish court records showed.
