They say in Louisiana there’s a festival for everything, and there’s a lot of truth to that. Whether it’s food, history, culture, or just fun, there’s a local festival that celebrates it with games, rides, kids’ activities, entertainment and plenty of good eats, often accompanied by costuming.
As temperatures moderate and outdoor activities become more enjoyable, the calendar for the next three months is filled with dozens of events to help enjoy the season.
SEPTEMBER
NEW ORLEANS HEALTH & YOGA FESTIVAL: The festival of movement, mindfulness and connection runs Sept. 3-6 at Hotel Peter & Paul, 2317 Burgundy St., New Orleans.
