NEW ORLEANS (WVUE) – Louisiana earned a hometown gold medal and the first X Games League champion was crowned during a three-day championship weekend inside the Caesars Superdome.
Opelousas native Wyatt Fontenot won the Moto X Best Whip competition Friday, securing the first X Games gold medal of his career in his home state. Fontenot entered the event after earning bronze at X Games Sacramento in June.
