We’ve been through a lot in recent weeks. There’s been some head-spinning, toe-tapping, neck-throwing, lip-smacking moments as the guv, the AG, the mayor, the DA and City Council members pointed, posted, pulled, pushed and shouted about and at each other with allegations, name-calling and, I’m certain, some swearing.
All of this because of some bone-headed moves by Gov. Jeff Landry and the Louisiana Legislature, including dicing and slicing the Orleans Parish judiciary, swiping district attorney warrant positions and eliminating a position to which New Orleanians had already elected someone.
That’s all true. This isn’t fake news. These are facts…
