NEW ORLEANS (WGNO) – Friday turned into another hot one, but not particularly all across southeast Louisiana and southern Mississippi.
There’s a Heat Advisory in effect until 7 p.m. for the I-10/I-12 corridor areas, South Shore, southern Tangipahoa and St. Tammany parishes along with part of Hancock county.
This advisory was a little excessive when the only areas that really warranted it was the surrounding I-10/I-12 corridor areas and this will be the case most liking for your Saturday too.
Temperatures won’t feel too much relief in the overnight hours only getting into the low 80s (maybe a few spots making it to to the upper 70s) as humidity levels slightly increase going into Saturday.
