Still hot Wednesday but a little better rain chance

NEW ORLEANS (WGNO) – The heat remains the big weather story across southeast Louisiana and southern Mississippi, and unfortunately, there is not much meaningful relief in sight over the next several days.

For tonight, skies will be partly cloudy with warm and muggy conditions continuing. Overnight temperatures will only fall into the upper 70s to lower 80s, so it will remain difficult to get much relief from the heat.

Wednesday will bring another very hot day. High temperatures will climb into the mid to upper 90s, while humidity pushes afternoon heat index values into the 108-115 degree range in parts of the area. A Heat Advisory is already scheduled for Wednesday…
