NEW ORLEANS (WVUE) – A man was shot to death Sunday night (Aug. 23) in Algiers, New Orleans police said.
The victim’s identity and age have not been disclosed.
According to the NOPD, the victim was walking around 10:30 p.m. in the 1100 block of Newton Street when a suspect approached from behind, opened fire and fled. The wounded man was transported for treatment by New Orleans EMS personnel, but died at a hospital, police said…
