3 NOLA shootings send 4 to hospital

Four people: two men and two women, were victims of gunfire Saturday night in New Orleans, in three separate incidents.

New Orleans Police say a man showed up at the hospital suffering from a gunshot wound to the leg around 8:45 p.m. Investigators were working to determine the scene of that crime, and as of Sunday morning, had not announced a location.

About an hour later, and a man and woman arrived at an emergency room reporting they had both been shot in the 2200 block of Frenchmen Street in the Seventh Ward, just off the I-10.

Police say the victims were sitting on their porch when a man approached and began shooting at them. The suspect then fled, while the injured man and woman drove themselves to the hospital.

Then an hour after that, a woman showed up at the ER for treatment of a gunshot wound, inflicted in the 2400 block of Elysian Fields Ave. just north of I-10.

Police say that victim was traveling toward the lake on Elysian Fields when someone inside a white Dodge Charger began shooting at her vehicle.
