Four people were robbed of the keys to their car at gunpoint over the weekend near the French Quarter, according to the New Orleans Police Department.
At around 10:47 p.m. Saturday, the victims, who had parked their car in the 1400 block of Governor Nicholls Street in Treme, and were walking toward the French Quarter when two armed men approached them and demanded their keys, police said.
The group handed over the keys and the suspects fled on Gov. Nicholls toward Claiborne Avenue, coming back later to pick up a black Jeep Wagoneer, officials said…
