Genre-bending singer-songwriter Teddy Swims treated the French Quarter to a one-of-a-kind performance ahead of his Sunday set at the New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival, joining local vocalist and street performer Jourdan Blue in a pop-up duet on Bourbon Street.
Swims, a Georgia native and soul vocalist who is set to take the Festival Stage at 4 p.m., joined Blue Saturday evening outside Hard Rock Cafe, where a crowd gathered in the street as the pair sang Swims’ popular single “Lose Control.”
