A JetBlue pilot operating a flight to New York City reported a collision with a drone while landing at John F. Kennedy International Airport (JFK) this morning.
On Sunday, June 28, JetBlue flight 948 departed Las Vegas just before midnight local time, according to FlightAware. About four and a half hours later, the Airbus A321 landed in New York just before 7:30 a.m. local time on June 29.
However, upon approach to JFK, a pilot reported the aircraft “collided” with a drone about 10 to 12 miles away from the airport…
