The suspect was near the boathouse on Meadow Lake near the Van Wyck Expressway at 10:10 a.m. when he discharged a firearm multiple times, police said. The gunman fled the boathouse parking lot in a vehicle traveling southbound on Meadow Lake Drive toward the entrance to the Van Wyck Expressway.
There were no injuries or property damage reported.
The NYPD released an image of the suspect who is wanted in connection with the reckless endangerment incident and asked for the public’s help in identifying him. He has a medium complexion with a dark beard and thin mustache, and was was last seen wearing a blue and white t-shirt, dark colored jeans, a black baseball cap with white lettering and multi-colored sneakers.
A reward of up to $3,500 is being offered for information that leads to his arrest and indictment…
