Fox News was halted for breaking news as Markwayne Mullin issued a scathing five-word update.
On Tuesday, September 1, Fox News’ America’s Newsroom paused its coverage to air a press conference in which the Secretary of Homeland Security gave an update on a recent ICE operation in New York City called “Operation Rotten Apple.”
Mullin said that after Mayor Zohran Mamdani, who recently enraged Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, and Governor Kathy Hochul refused to work with federal law enforcement agents, they took matters into their own hands. He revealed that ICE agents captured 2,100 criminals, or as he described them, “the worst of the worst,” over the last 30 days.
