(NEXSTAR) – Days are getting shorter in September, and many of us are about to see a major, albeit sad, benchmark associated with that: our final 7 p.m. sunset of the year.
Within the last few weeks, we’ve seen the final post-8 p.m. sunsets of 2026. The sun will not set after 8 p.m. again until at least late March.
Meanwhile, seven of the more than 60 cities analyzed by Nexstar have already seen sunsets shift to the 6 o’clock hour, with roughly a dozen about to experience the same trend…
