Georgia man finds God, confesses to 1989 murder in Bayonne, authorities say

A 62-year-old man living in Georgia has been charged with the 1989 murder of a man shot dead in Bayonne, a crime he confessed to after becoming a born-again Christian.

Joseph Quiros-Soto is charged with murder and felony murder during a burglary for the death of Mauricio Cuadra, 48, the Hudson County Prosecutor’s Office announced.
