Man charged after handgun, drugs found during Morris County traffic stop

FLORHAM PARK BOROUGH, N.J. (Morris County) — A Newark man was charged with weapons and drug offenses after police said they found a loaded handgun, a high-capacity magazine and drugs during a traffic stop in Florham Park.

Police said an officer stopped a vehicle on Columbia Turnpike at about 2:40 p.m. May 28 after observing illegally tinted windows.

The driver, identified as Jamar London, 37, of Newark, was found to be driving with a suspended license and had an outstanding traffic warrant from Florham Park Municipal Court, according to police…
