Three men sentenced in kidnapping, killing of man found along I-80 in Warren County

ALLAMUCHY TOWNSHIP, N.J. (Warren County) — Three Newark men have been sentenced after pleading guilty in the kidnapping and killing of a Newark man whose remains were discovered along Interstate 80 in Warren County, authorities said.

The case stems from the death of Quadree Burch, 27, of Newark, whose remains were found on Aug. 18, 2022, by a New Jersey Department of Transportation employee mowing grass along the eastbound side of Interstate 80 near milepost 16.6 in Allamuchy Township.

A five-month investigation by the New Jersey State Police Major Crime North Unit determined that Burch had been kidnapped and killed on Aug. 7, 2022. Investigators alleged that Mustafa Manns, 28, William Dixon, 34, and Nishir Rios-Figueroa, 30, abducted Burch and drove him to Allamuchy Township, where he was shot and killed along the interstate…
