North Jersey residents who lost power over the July 4 weekend may have to wait until July 6 or 7 before their power gets restored. And the region could be in for more storms Sunday afternoon into Monday night with the potential to produce flash flooding.
More than 100,000 customers in the region remained without power on Sunday morning, July 5, after a series of intense storms swept through the area on Friday and Saturday nights, knocking down trees and wires in many towns.
