Fort Greene Creep Sought After Street Grope Near Lafayette Ave

Police in Fort Greene are looking for a man they say groped a 24-year-old woman at a neighborhood corner, then bolted down the block in the middle of the day.

According to the NYPD, the forcible-touching incident happened on June 13 at the intersection of Cumberland Street and Lafayette Avenue. Investigators say the man ran off on foot, heading west along DeKalb Avenue after the assault.

Images of the suspect and a brief account of what happened were shared on July 23 by NYPD Crime Stoppers. The post states that the man approached the woman, grabbed her between the legs over her clothing, and kissed her without consent before taking off.
