LITTLE FALLS TOWNSHIP, N.J. (Passaic County) — A Mount Olive Township woman has filed a lawsuit against the Township of Little Falls, the Little Falls Police Department and others, alleging police released unredacted video footage that showed an unintended exposure of an intimate part of her body while she was in police custody.
The lawsuit, filed July 28 in New Jersey Superior Court in Passaic County, alleges the woman was arrested by Little Falls police on Aug. 30, 2025, and taken to police headquarters for processing and detention. Video recorded during that process captured an unintended exposure of her breast, according to the complaint.
According to the lawsuit, the Little Falls Police Department later received an Open Public Records Act request seeking the video. The complaint alleges the department released the footage without redacting the portion showing the woman’s exposed breast.
