Huge Blaze Near NJ Turnpike In Newark Creates Fiery Scene For Drivers

A two-alarm fire spread to an occupied building in Newark Thursday afternoon, March 26, officials said.

Firefighters responded to 635 Delancy Street at approximately 2:48 p.m. for a reported fire, according to Newark Public Safety Director Emanuel Miranda.
