NORFOLK, Va. (WAVY) — Residents were displaced after an apartment fire on East Princess Anne Road Tuesday evening, according to Norfolk Fire-Rescue.
On June 2 at around 5:48 p.m., the department was dispatched to 800 E Princess Anne Road for a reported commercial structure fire. When units arrived to the scene, they found a two-story apartment building with smoke showing from the second floor.
After fire attack was initiated, a fire was discovered in the kitchen. The fire was quickly extinguished. It didn’t spread outside of the kitchen or into nearby apartments. Fire control was called at 6:01 p.m…
