YORKTOWN, Va. — Firefighters responded to a reported house fire on Friday morning in the 200 block of Shamrock Avenue in the Tabb area, according to the York County Fire Department.
Crews were dispatched at about 11:35 a.m. and found light smoke inside the home upon arrival. Officials said the source was a hot spot in the crawl space beneath the residence. Firefighters accessed the area and quickly extinguished it while checking for any fire extension.
