‘Special’ 7pm curfew goes into effect until at least July 5 in US city to ensure ‘safe summer

A CURFEW that bars young people from being outside in a US city has come into place due to safety concerns.

This city saw council members vote unanimously to impose the curfew to ensure that its residents experience a “safe summer.”

Newport News, Virginia, city council members have defended the decision to impose the curfew and have said it will help them address an ongoing issue.

As part of the curfew, unaccompanied minors will be barred from being in the City Center at Oyster Point between 7pm and 6am the following day…
