ISLE OF WIGHT COUNTY, Va. (WAVY) — The Isle of Wight County Sheriff’s Office is investigating after a shooting on Shelter Cove Way in Isle of Wight County Saturday morning, according to the Isle of Wight County Sheriff’s Office.
At around 5 a.m. on July 11, a suspect tried to break into a person’s vehicle on Shelter Cove Way. The person confronted the suspect, who then left on foot. Shortly after, the suspect returned and fired multiple shots at the occupied vehicle before leaving the scene. The person wasn’t injured during the shooting.
The suspect was last seen wearing all-black clothing and leaving on foot. The suspect’s identity is currently unknown…
