NEWPORT NEWS, Va. (WAVY) — A Hampton Roads Transit bus struck the side of a parking garage Thursday morning in Downtown Newport News.
Thomas Becher, communications manager for Hampton Roads Transit, confirmed there were two passengers onboard and no injuries have been reported.
WAVY viewer Matthew Hanson sent in photos of the crash which happened at the intersection of Washington Avenue and 30th Street. Dispatch in Newport News was called around 7 a.m.
Another image showed at least two additional vehicles were damaged in the accident.
