NPD: 77-year-old woman found safe

NORFOLK, Va. (WAVY) — Norfolk police say a missing woman with dementia has been found safe.

Phyllis Criss,77, was last seen around 10:15 Wednesday near 885 Kempsville Road.

Criss is 5 feet 5 inches tall and weighs about 120 pounds with gray hair and brown eyes. She was wearing a black bonnet, a blue and green jacket, a light blue and purple shirt, tan sweatpants and New Balance shoes when she was last seen. Police said Criss suffers from dementia and was in need of medical assistance.

At 3:13 p.m. Wednesday, Norfolk Police posted on social media that Ms. Criss was located in Norfolk and is safe.
