HAMPTON, Va. — One person died and another suffered life-threatening injuries in a house fire Monday morning in Hampton, according to the Hampton Division of Fire & Rescue.
The Hampton Public Safety Communications Center received a call around 7 a.m. reporting a residential structure fire in the 4100 block of Chippendale Court. The caller told dispatchers that people were still inside the home.
