NORFOLK, Va. — For students, elections can be difficult; many are balancing a busy class schedule, and some even work on the side, which makes getting to the polls difficult. For others, it can be difficult because they are figuring out where and how to vote for the first time.
At Norfolk State University, it’s much of the same story. Senior Jalen Freeman said many students aren’t able to find the energy to go. He said, “It’s kind of draining coming back from work and class.”
