A Northern California pie shop that has been a familiar stop for generations of Bay Area travelers headed to and from Lake Tahoe was recently voted the best in the country.
Ikeda’s, the family-run Auburn market and bakery just off Interstate 80, took the No. 1 spot Wednesday in USA Today’s 2026 10Best Readers’ Choice Awards for best pie shop.
