S.F. police, sheriff’s deputies swarm Mission District alley, detaining several

San Fransisco police and sheriff’s vehicles, including two black tactical vehicles, blocked Wiese Street between 16th and 15th streets late Thursday afternoon as officers conducted a search at a Wiese Street address.

By 7 p.m., six or seven people stood in the alleyway, their hands fastened with plastic zip-ties.

Witnesses said officers arrived just after 6 p.m. The first vehicles on the scene had a megaphone, witnesses said. One witness said the officers had a search warrant for 85 B Wiese St.

An officer at the scene confirmed that the San Francisco Police Department had a warrant, but did not confirm the address…
