SAN FRANCISCO (KRON) — Crews in San Francisco are investigating falling glass from a high-rise in the city’s Financial District.
According to the San Francisco Fire Department, around 1:40 p.m. it received a report of a windowpane falling from the 17th floor of the building located at 150 California Street. The glass reportedly landed on the 6th floor balcony of the building.
SF Fire told KRON4 the first window fell out at 11:30 a.m. At 1:30 p.m., a second window was identified as loose, and SF Fire was called to the scene.
Emergency crews responded and briefly closed a portion of California Street. A second glass pane in risk of falling was also removed. The street reopened just after 2:30 p.m…
