Gregory’s Gourmet Desserts, the tiny Oakland bakery with the giant cinnamon rolls, has slipped across the hills into San Ramon, quietly debuting its first suburban outpost and immediately catching the attention of early-morning regulars and curious commuters.
According to East Bay Times, Gregory’s Gourmet Desserts, run by owner and chef Gregory Williams, has added a second location at 2410 San Ramon Valley Blvd., Suite 140. Richmondside’s Nosh first flagged last Tuesday’s soft opening and pointed back to Williams’ long-running Uptown Oakland shop as the original outpost.
What To Expect At The New Shop
The San Ramon counter is serving the greatest hits that made the Uptown original a cult favorite: slices of cheesecake, peach cobbler, sweet-potato pie and those famously oversized cinnamon rolls. Gregory’s website highlights those desserts as signatures, and Eater SF has singled out the peach cobbler and key lime pie as standouts.
